Halloween 2009

Here is a snapshot from the Trunk or Treat activity at the Church on Wednesday (October 28). They also went to to a Haunted Forest, several Krogers on Tuesday (when Kroger did its Halloween event), and did actual trick-or-treating on October 29 and Halloween.

Hikaru achieved the rank of Star in Boy Scouts

Hikaru missed the Court of Honor in August as he was out of town, but today he finally received his Star. Congratulations Hikaru!

Noah's 6th birthday

Noah celebrated his 6th birthday on Thurdsay. Noah was born on October 1, 2003 in Japan. He was born premature so he was placed in the NICU for about a month.

Road Trip 2009

Took a road trip with the boys about a week or so ago. We went to the Grand Canyon, Mesa (stayed at my older brother Darin's place), Vegas (stayed at my older sister Maria's place), St. George (visited with some of my relatives there), Zion National Park, Moab (river rafting on the Colorado), Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, SLC (stayed at my mom's place) and Timpanogos Caves. Dropped the boys off at their mom's (Bountiful) and then I headed back to Ohio. Put over 6000 miles on the Flex.

Spring Vacation 2009

We just got back from our spring vacation. Great weather everyday. Got to see Fuji-san up close for the first time. Nothing like seeing it for real. We went to Tokyo, Fuji Q Highland, Nagoya, Monkey Park and Eigamura (Kyoto).

Visit to USAF Museum

We visited the Air Force Museum and Wright Brothers Memorial today in Dayton. It is a huge musuem. I highly recommend it if you like airplanes.

Winter Vacation for Noah and Hikaru
